Mr. and Mrs. Pickup talk about joining the Mormon Church, their life in Burnley, and their work in the Mormon Church. Mr. Pickup also talks about his life as a salesman.

Albert Pickup was born in 1916 in Darwin, England. He joined the Army in 1940 and upon returning home he began his political career. In 1948 he abandoned his loyalties with the Labour Party and joined the Conservatives. That same year he became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
